Went To The Range Today

Went to the range today, to make sure my Remington 11-87, 12ga. was sighted-in. Using 2-3/4" Lightfield EXP Slugs, 3-9x40 Leupold VX-II, here is my 5 shot group at 50 yards, I'm still well within the kill zone of a deer and bear out too 100 yards.....Bring on the deer/bear season!!!!!!!

I don't really use this shotgun anymore, it's just my back up, but I have taken a few deer with it over the years, and in 2003 I took a New Jersey Bear with it !!!! I would opt for my H&R Ultra Deluxe 20ga. if I was just hunting deer, but since this will be a combo deer/bear hunt, I like the added power of the 12ga. for the bears, and I know that the 20ga. can take a bear down.
